The Reel Appeal
The Reel Appeal is hosted by ScreenGeek’s Mark Salcido and Your Entertainment Corner’s Kelsey Loiselle as they discuss life, reviews, and the state of cinema today. The duo removes the nostalgia protection and takes a bat to classic movies to see if they stand the test of time. No film is safe.

Writer/editor, Kelsey Loiselle from Screengeek.net and managing editor/writer from ScreenGeek.net, Mark Salcido, are back for another show on film news, reviews, and a smattering of new segments. In this episode, we talk about Disney taking full control of Hulu, Netflix's planned feature release of some classic Nickelodeon cartoons and a few other news items.
Sit and enjoy Kelsey’s rage over another penguin documentary—it’s a good one. Also, on the show, we have a few recommendations and what to avoid in our Try This Not That section.
Kelsey and Mark introduce a sandbox segment called Deathbed Do-over.
This week’s review is Detective Pikachu and for the Geriatric Cinematic, Mark brings Kelsey into the world of 1999’s Pokémon: The First Movie.

It's up and here we are. For the hosts' first episode, Mark Salcido and Kelsey Loiselle of ScreenGeek.net discuss Avengers: Endgame breaking all the box office records, the death of legendary director John Singleton, and the atrocious Sonic the Hedgehog trailer.
This week's review of a recent film release will be one of the most anticipated films of the year, Avengers: Endgame.
Later on, we break down the somewhat classic and still widely loved Marvel Cinematic film, Iron Man. Nothing like going back to where it all began to get our start.
