Hey everyone! We're discussing one of our favorite subjects this week–strong Black female leads. But, of course, we get plenty of that in our Recent Review of The Woman King and our Geriatric Cinematic of Foxy Brown.
Hollywood is not known for its accuracy. In our Variety Time segment, we talk about films that take historical liberties, either with minor details or significant, glaring errors.
Next week, our Recent Review is Don't Worry Darling, available in theaters on September 23rd, and our Geriatric CInematic is The Wizard of Oz (1939). Unfortunately, mark has not seen the classic, so join us to get his take!
