Episode 131 - Simply a Simpleton

Hey folks! Our plan was to bring you a new episode, and we executed it. You’re welcome. This week, our Recent Review is Amazon Studio's A Hero, and our Geriatric Cinematic is Sam Raimi’s A Simple Plan (1998). 

In the news, we discuss Jeremy Slater signing on to write the sequel to the most recent Mortal Kombat movie, the possibility of Jason Momoa joining the Fast & Furious franchise, and Halyna Hutchen’s family filing a wrongful death suit following the tragedy on the set of Rust.

We normally only talk about two films, but our Variety Time this week is full of the worst film to possibly exist, Battlefield Earth. The creators of that movie did not execute if they planned on it being good.

Next week, our Recent Review is Pam & Tommy, premiering on Hulu on February 2nd, and our Geriatric Cinematic is 1976’s All The President’s Men, streaming on Hulu, HBO Max, or available to rent on Apple TV, Amazon, and other VOD Services.
