Hey everyone! It’s our 100th episode (obligatory “woo”), so what better way to celebrate than with stories of the undead?
Netflix's Army of the Dead is our Recent Review, and 28 Days Later is our Geriatric Cinematic. We also cover MCU's The Eternals teaser trailer, Timothée Chalamet cast in a Willy Wonka origin story, and the big AT&T/Discovery merger that'll sure be part of your streaming package.
With the passing of the creator of Kentaro Miura, our Variety Time for the next few weeks will cover the 1997 anime series Berserk in tribute. You're gonna want to join us as Kelsey experiences the series for the first time and Mark pays a nice revisit to this influential anime.
On the next show, the duo traverses the badlands and finally heads back to the theaters! Our Recent Review will be A Quiet Place 2 and we see if 1981's Blow Out deserves to be called a classic. The John Krasinski and Emily Blunt movie hit theaters on May 28th and you can find the Brian De Palma film streaming on Amazon Prime or to rent on Apple TV, YouTube, Google Play, or other On-Demand services.
