Mark and Kelsey of Screengeek.net are at it again with their opinions and such. This week, we talk about Netflix's new Sandman TV show and San Diego Comic-Con studio dropouts. Disney's new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is not doing as well as expected, and maybe that's due to franchise fatigue. Or maybe it's Disney's ticket prices. We're just speculating, but what if it's toxic fandom? Help us decide.
Mark recommends more shows, one on Amazon Prime and one on Netflix. Not the usual types of recommendations, but Mark is not your usual person...thing.
Yesterday couldn't get left in the past quick enough as it was our Recent Review and we had to relive the pain of so much failing just to tell you how it was. You're. Welcome.
Simon asks us about fives and dimes and thrift shops. He may have low-key been asking for drugs. Not entirely sure.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch is our Geriatric Cinematic, and though the songs surely made Kelsey feel like a kid loathing her parents' choice in music, the film had some surprisingly good messages.
